Despair On the Streets of Athens: Homeless On Rise As Economy Crumbles


Impacted by the lingering financial crisis strangling their nation, Greek's most vulnerable find themselves where civilized people never expect; without shelter. Economically suffocated by a society losing jobs everywhere and surviving off their own instincts, luck, and the charity of others; Athen's homeless already know despair has hit Greece. Now they fear disater will strike should the financial tumlt of their nation carry on any longer. Escalated by a week long bank shutdown, the Greek crisis is on a razor's edge as the world eagerly awaits their national referendum.
