Take a look an the 24 foot updated design. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swl-gePSFcQ l hope to build a Tiny House someday, but l never felt comfortable with the bed up in the loft where the only access is by climbing a latter. l also like being able to dress inside my own bedroom. So rather than have a latter this design gives you access to an enclosed platform allowing easy access to your bed and a private area to get dress. Doors would be in place but were left out to allow more visibility. This is more of a concept drawing than an exact plan yet the dimensions are pretty much on. The length of the trailer is 28 feet and he height of the structure is just a little over 13 feet (including the trailer). The ceiling height on both levels is 6.5 feet,the space between the bed and the ceiling is 35 inches. The layout here would also work for a 20 foot trailer, loosing only the front bedroom and the front small room. l have shared the idea with a few Tiny House builders but none really seemed interested. l realize much of the appeal to this style of living is downsizing and a simpler life, yet l feel this design only adds a little comfort, the ability to have a few more things, and a few more choices in lifestyle. My skills using Sketchup are lacking and the quality of the video is poor but l hope neither is enough to be distracting. Many Tiny Houses are BEAUTlFUL, made with incredible craftsmanship, but rather than use so much wood this could just use panels or drywall. l know the exterior lacks eye-appeal but l just wanted to keep it looking clean and basic. Many people might be hardcore TH fans. This approach only opens up the possibility for others to join the TH fan club. lt would be interesting to see if this concept could be used in RV's.
