"Now in the Manosphere we have three main different communities, MRA, MGTOW, and PUA. It's like what happened in the city Athena in ancient Greece where the three great philosophers, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle lived. Each of them was the father of a different school of thought. MRAs are like Socrates who believed that his society was going in the wrong direction and that Athena should be saved from itself. He was an optimist for change and he had a cause that he lived and died for. MGTOWs are like Plato who believed that the Athenians who killed his mentor, Socrates, are beyond saving. So he decided to walk away from their BS and immerse himself in his quest of self-fulfillment by understating the universe and theorizing about it. PUAs are like Aristotle who believed that the pursuit of happiness is the ultimate goal, and he disagreed with his mentor, Plato, that happiness should be achieved by living more in earth and theorizing less about the heavens. He was the most practical of the three, like PUAs who believe that lifting weights, dressing to impress, and getting as many women as possible is the key of happiness. So, I think it is important to set the boundaries between these three different communities. Also, many times MGTOWs are confused with TFLs. But there is a difference between taking the red pill willingly and being thrown of a boat in a sea of red pills. I believe that being forced to take the red pill can never make a guy a true MGTOW because there will always be a "women shaped hole in his heart." And that way he can never be self-fulfilled and he will always be one kiss away from the blue pill, meaning that as soon as he gets attention from a decent looking women he will convert to Manginaism. So I think MGTOWs should not ignore the big elephant in the room being our biological and emotional imperatives. That being said, I believe that guys should explore their needs and have their share of experiences with women and get all of that out of their systems before identifying as true MGTOWs. So maybe some of the younger and fresh MGTOW guys should take a detour to PUA before coming back to the land of MGTOW? The only MGTOW rule that I think everyone should follow is to not get married.
