Destroying Hard Drives At Your Scrap Yard + Certificate Of Destruction.

Hello YouTube Scrappers. Well on my latest videos last week you saw all the computers that I got from a new client. Well they specifically asked me to have the 10 hard drives destroyed and also requested a certified letter of destruction. I was a little bummed because I like pulling these drives apart to make more money. But that's ok as you always want to do what you client asks. Remember if you cheat your client word will spread and you will loose a lot of potential customers. I always destroy hard drive platters anyway but in this case I called my main scrap yard and they destroy the hard drives for me by literally cutting them in half first and then crushing the remains with a pneumatic machine. After they finish they presented me with a signed & dated certificate of destruction that I could then deliver back to my client. I still got paid for hard drive weight and I pulled the boards off before I took them in to sell to my private buyer. So I just wanted to point out that if you need to get hard drives destroyed check with you scrap yards first because it is a free service. Most companies out there charge a lot of money for the destruction. I hope you enjoyed this video. Please Like & Subscribe! Take Care!
