L.A. County mudslides trap numerous cars


The National Weather Service issued a storm advisory warning of up to an inch of rain and 60-mph winds in parts of the Antelope Valley through 6:45 p.m. Crews were working to free vehicles that were trapped in mud from flash flooding in Castaic. The mudslides forced the closure of a stretch of Lake Hughes Road north of Castaic is flooded due to the downpour in the area and all northbound lanes of the Golden State (5) Freeway are blocked by flooding near Fort Tejon north of Gorman, according to the California Highway Patrol. http://bit.ly/1G8uVmn http://bit.ly/1G8uVmn
