House Republicans Seek to Block Budget Over Refugees


House Republicans are calling upon party leaders to ensure that no funding for resettling Syrian refugees and other nearby places goes into the spending bill. The bill's sponsor added on Tuesday that one-third of the Republican representatives signed a letter pressuring that the bill be blocked. Circulated by Republican Representative Brian Babin, 74 of the 246 House Republicans signed.
