Never Seen Before! Shocking Video of Space Shuttle Challenger STS-51L Debris!


Rare, never before seen video footage of the the debris recovery of Space Shuttle Challenger STS-51L. Two months after the space shuttle accident, the crew cabin from Challenger was found at the bottom of the ocean floor, intact. This is actual video footage from the recovery of the Challenger debris. Challenger was destroyed 73 seconds after lift-off on January 28, 1986 when an O-ring failure in the right solid rocket booster caused hot gases and flame to breach and ignite the main fuel tank containing liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen.
