London Bomb Squad Evacuates Thousands from Offices Near BBC House, London Bridge


http://bit.ly/1zfNXza Two separate security scares sparked the mass evacuation of buildings close to BBC Broadcasting House and London Bridge station this afternoon. Staff at the corporation's capital headquarters were briefly evacuated after a 'suspicious vehicle' was seen nearby but the Metropolitan Police said the alert was now over. A spokesman for the force said the threat was not specific to the BBC, adding that a vehicle parked on nearby Regent's Street had now been deemed 'non-suspicious'. In a separate incident, police sniffer dogs were brought in following the discovery of a 'suspicious package' at a building close to London Bridge station.
