Urban Logging - Finding Free logs for Lumber


Urban locations can be great for getting logs for lumber. There's a lot of interesting trees in both species and growth patterns. Much of the time, these trees have no real value to the "owner" and they are more than willing to let them go to a good cause. In this video I do just that. I picked up a good sized ash log and sassafras crotch and drove them to the sawmill to be cut into lumber for future furniture projects.
