California Attorney's Body Washes Ashore


The body of Steven Mitchell, a 56-year-old attorney washed ashore in Bodega Bay, California Monday. He was the attorney who was representing Sonoma County in the civil rights violation lawsuit filed by the parents of Andy Lopez. Lopez, 13, was fatally shot by a sheriff's deputy in October 2013. Mitchell went missing on February 13th in Santa Rosa. CBS San Francisco reports the Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner's Office said Tuesday that Mitchell's body was discovered on Monday morning near Bodega Dunes, south of Salmon Creek.
