Get my book Create Your Own Florida Food Forest at: http://amzn.to/1ZNnV2D For more food forest insight, visit http://bit.ly/1TaOPRF. For five years I've been building a forest garden in north Florida. We get freezes into the teens in the winter and heat into the 100s in the summer, making this a tough place to create a food forest - yet by choosing the proper species, it can be done. My food jungle is now coming into production with a wide range of edible roots, fruit trees, nut trees, bananas, edible palms, perennial vegetables, cassava, citrus, nitrogen fixers and more. Today I'll take you on a food forest tour. Though I'm not at Geoff Lawton's level yet, my design has turned into a beautiful self-sustaining garden filled with bees and butterflies. I see the power of perennial edible landscaping and how it has created microclimates, massively increased biodiversity every time I step outside. I'm David The Good - mad horticulturalist and permie. Join me as we wander through the food forest.

We are seeking people who want to help start an Tiny House Ecovillage, In Oklahoma. The goal is to help homeless and low income.
