California Will Close Final Nuclear Plant By 2025

Under a new deal announced on Tuesday, California's last nuclear power plant will close by 2025. The announce brings closure to three decades of safety debates that helped fuel the national anti-nuclear power movement. The Diabo Canyon nuclear plant's production will be replaced with solar and other energy forms that don't emit greenhouse gases.
