Gas Motorhome Pros and Cons - RV Living

http://youtu.be/ybwf5g74aLY
When it comes to RV living, what RV you choose to travel in is definitely a big decision. During our first year of RV living, we owned a travel trailer, and fifth wheel, and gas motorhome. They all have their pros and cons, but for our current style of travel, a gas motorhome has been our best option. Not perfect, but still the best option for us. NONE of these are 100% true for all motorhomes, trailers, and 5th wheels, but they are what has been true for us for the three we've owned. GAS MOTORHOME PROS -Outside storage -Carries more weight -Small and nimble tow car behind it -Fast set up at campsites -Slide awnings -Fireplace -Slide outs -Huge windshield -Rear backup camera -Generator for living on the go -Washer/dryer combo GAS MOTORHOME CONS -More expensive than 5th wheel to buy -Only 2 living spaces (vs 3 on 5th wheel) -No outdoor kitchen -A little tight when popped in -Tougher to find family-friendly floor plan -Louder to drive -More engines to maintain -Braking not as strong as diesel truck or motorhome Support us for FREE!
