Many are shocked by the sudden spread of the Zika virus and wonder how they can prevent themselves and loved ones from coming in contact with the virus. Dr. Peter Hotez a specialist in disease and poverty at the Baker Institute visited Texas this week to show people the harsh conditions that the Zika virus makes itself prevalent. "I'm showing you Zika heaven," Dr. Hotez said as he wandered past old piles of trash, limited air conditioning, and grimy pools of water. It is a virus that is striking low income communities with harsher living conditions which is a major issue considering most do not have health coverage in these areas. However, Zika does not have preference to where it spreads and officials must be proactive in the fight against the virus. http://apne.ws/2969dWd http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
