North Korea Says Missile Could Attack U.S. In Pacific

North Korea leader Kim Jong Un said that his country has "the sure capability to attack" U.S. interests in the Pacific Ocean. This statement comes after Un supervised a test launch of a "medium long-range strategic ballistic missile" on Wednesday. The test-fire was successful but did not impact the security of any neighboring countries. South Korea and the U.S. condemned the test as a direct violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions. The Japanese Defense Ministry also stated that the missile launch was a threat to its safety.
