A man named Mohammed Malik, who attended the same mosque as Omar Mateen, said he notified the FBI with his suspicions in 2014 about the future Orlando nightclub gunman. Malik told CNN's Erin Burnett that he was concerned about comments Mateen made to him but didn't think he fit the profile of a radical. He said that Mateen mentioned watching the videos of Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Muslim who acted as a spokesperson for al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, and told Malik that they were "powerful." Malik also told CNN that Mateen never said anything being gay or being homophobic. http://cnn.it/28Veb3o http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
