Another Homeless Attack Reported in San Diego

On Wednesday, authorities said that a homeless man in San Diego was set on fire and critically injured earlier in the day in what is believed to be the fourth attack in a series of incidents in the city that has left two other homeless people dead. As of now, police believe the attacks are the work of a single suspect. San Diego police Captain David Nisleit told a news conference that witnesses to the latest attack saw an individual crouched over the flaming victim before running away. Nisleit added to local media that the latest victim was injured in his chest, in addition to being burned.
