A noticeable number of Republican lawmakers will be absent from the Republican National Convention, which kicks off Monday in Cleveland, Ohio. Many of the absentees would rather spend their time campaigning in their home states for their upcoming elections, while others are not being shy about their lack of interest in attending. Florida Representative Mario Diaz-Balart jokes he’ll be getting his hair done, while Montana Senator Steve Daines says he'll be spending his time fly-fishing with his wife.
