In a bizarre Cold War flashback, a Russian warship carried out aggressive and erratic maneuvers close to a U.S. Navy ship in the eastern Mediterranean Sea, the second such incident there in a matter of weeks. European Command said the Russian frigate came unnecessarily close to the guided-missile cruiser on June 30 and maneuvered in its wake.
