Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin declared Thursday, October 13 as Oilfield Prayer Day. The Republican governor believes that oil was "created by God," as she stated in a proclamation "at a prayer breakfast organized by the Oil Patch Chaplains." The breakfast was held to thank those in the fossil fuel industries "for their religious contributions to Oklahoma." While believes in divine intervention, what she does not believe in in man-made climate change. When Oklahoma faced record droughts she asked Oklahomans "to look to a greater power this weekend and ask for rain.” Climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe argues, “Wind and sun and tide also come from God, and they don’t run out on us." http://bit.ly/2dMSmaG http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
