More than five-thousand Iraqi troops have entered several southeastern districts of Mosul where the battle has been stalled for nearly a month over civilian casualty concerns. Meanwhile Mosul residents began fleeing the city as the second phase of the operation started on Thursday. The International Organization for Migration says more than 100-thousand people have been displaced since the beginning of the battle for Mosul in mid-October.
