During Wednesday's rush hour, a Long Island Rail Road train derailed at Brooklyn's Atlantic Terminal. Officials say 103 people were hurt when the train from Far Rockaway struck the bumping block at track 6 around 8:30 a.m., then went up and over the block, the impact knocking the wheels of the first car and sending an axle off the rails. Fire officials announced all of the injuries were considered minor, though some commuters were taken to hospitals for evaluation. Social media was soon flooded with photos and video showing the train tipping at an angle, and the platform filling with smoke. According to MTA Chairman Tom Prendergast, The train was coming in at a fairly low rate of speed, around 15 mph. The cause of the derailment is currently under investigation. http://bit.ly/2j4YpqP http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
