ACLU Receives Huge Spike In Donations After Trump's Travel Ban #okc #news #wth



In one weekend the American Civil Liberties Union received six times the online donations it normally receives in an entire year. This is, of course, in thanks to President Donald Trump's executive order temporarily banning travel from certain predominantly Muslim countries. In a normal year the ACLU makes about $4 million in online donations. Over the weekend the legal activist organization raised more than $24 million.
