It seems like Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's newest war tactic is dehydration. The Syrian regime is bombing a millennia-old aquifer in Damascus, leaving millions of people without water. As early as last week, bombs turned Wadi Barada, Damascus into hell on earth, leaving dozens of civilians killed and wounded. Hospitals along with other civilian infrastructural facilities were deliberately targeted. The result was a humanitarian catastrophe, and one of worst environmental catastrophes of the entire war. Many residents fear they will soon meet the same fate as Aleppo, which saw summary executions, mass rapes, and hundreds dead as Syrian regime forces seized the city. http://bit.ly/2iI3Tup http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
