Massachusetts judge Heidi Brieger has refused to excuse Exxon Mobil from a request by the state's attorney general to provide years’ worth of documents regarding its views on climate change. This decision represents a legal victory for Attorney General Maura Healey who is investigating the oil company's climate policies. After the decision, healey said on twitter, "This order affirms our longstanding authority to investigate fraud.” She added that Exxon "must come clean about what it knew about climate change."
