Iran Leader hails troops defending Syria holy sites #okc #news #wth



The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution has once again hailed the nation’s armed forces for their role in defending holy sites in Syria. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was speaking with the families of Iranian army commandos killed in the Arab country. Ayatollah Khamenei said the fallen soldiers are a source of pride not only for Iran’s army but for the whole nation. The Leader said the Iranian forces have grounded the enemy in Syria. Ayatollah Khamenei added that if Iran’s ill-wishers and the puppets of the US and Zionists had not been confronted in Syria, Iranian forces would have had to fight them inside Iran’s territory.
