PLO threatens to revoke recognition of Israel #okc #news #wth



The Palestine Liberation Organization has warned US President Elect Donald Trump that it will revoke its recognition of Israel if Washington moves its embassy to Jerusalem Al-Quds. The Palestinian leadership is also calling for protests in Mosques on Friday and Churches on Sunday. The warning comes after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas wrote to President Elect Donald Trump explaining the dangers of any such move. Trump has said he is in favor of moving the embassy. Palestinian officials say they have been informed that Trump may announce the relocation during his inauguration speech on 20 January. The United Nations officially terms East Jerusalem al-Quds as Palestinian territory, occupied by Israel.
