Eight Executions Scheduled In Arkansas #okc #news #wth



on Monday, Arkansas scheduled eight executions for April. This is despite the state’s lack of one of the three drugs needed to put the men to death. Governor Asa Hutchinson signed an order for the executions. Arkansas lacks potassium chloride, one of the three drugs the state uses in lethal injections. The state's stock of a second drug, the anesthetic midazolam, will also exceed its April expiration date. It’s currently unclear how Arkansas will get a new supply of potassium chloride before the executions.
