According to a report, staff workers at EPA agencies around the country have called US senators and pleaded with them to block the confirmation of Donald Trump's pick to run the agency, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt. Many of the scientists, environmental lawyers and policy experts who work at the EPA say the calls are a last resort. Nicole Cantello, an EPA lawyer in Chicago said this week, "It seems like Trump and Pruitt want a complete reversal of what agency has done. I don’t know if there’s any other agency that’s been so reviled.
