Researchers said this week that testing on over 400 samples from restaurants in the United States showed that nearly half of fast-food wrappers and one out of five paperboard boxes contained detectable levels of fluorine. Previous studies have shown that flourine is linked to kidney and testicular cancer, thyroid disease, decreased sperm quality and immune system problems in children.
