U.S. Judge Says Arrested Mexican Covered By DACA Should Get Bail Hearing #okc #news #wth

On Friday, a federal judge in Seattle has ruled that a Mexican immigrant with a work permit, who is being held by immigration officials, must be allowed to argue for his release from US custody while court proceedings about his arrest are in progress. Daniel Ramirez Medina, who received a permit to work in the United States under President Barack Obama's DACA program, was arrested last week by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. According to a lawsuit he filed, he said that he was brought to the US illegally as a child, but given a work permit during the Obama administration. In a federal court in Seattle on Friday, Ramirez was declined immediate release, but will receive a prompt bail hearing before an administrative immigration court. http://bit.ly/2lsErLp http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
