Pain relievers that treat respiratory infections can increase a patient's likelihood of getting a heart attack. Researchers at the National Taiwan University Hospital reviewed 10,000 patients between 2005 and 2011 who had, had a heart attack and had to be hospitalized. They were testing to see if respiratory infections and the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory to cure said infections increased their risk. They found that it did.
