North Korea fired multiple ballistic missiles #okc #news #wth



North Korea has reportedly fired a number of ballistic missiles into the waters off the country’s eastern coast. South Korea's military said in a statement that the launches were made in Tongchang-ri area in North Pyongan province and the missiles flew about one thousand kilometers. The area hosts the country’s Sohae Satellite Station, where Pyongyang has conducted long-range rocket launches in recent years. Addressing Japanese lawmakers, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Pyongyang launched four missiles, three of which landed in Japanese-controlled waters. The launches come days after Seoul and Washington started massive joint military drills despite warnings from the North.
