Brazil Welcomes Aid As Long As They Decide What To Do With It


The Brazilian government welcomed all foreign aid to help fight forest fires in the Amazon. According to Reuters, the country said they would only accept it if they can decide how they use it. Presidential spokesman Rego Barros told reporters that “Brazilian sovereignty is not negotiable.” He also said Brazil is open to dialogue with France after French President Emmanuel Macron insulted the Brazilian president.
