Subscribe to our channel! rupt.ly/subscribe Protesters threw firebombs while police fired rubber bullets as clashes broke out during protests in Hong Kong on Saturday. Footage shows firefighters putting out fires, firebombs exploding near police, and injured protesters being carried away by paramedics. Demonstrators defied a police ban against rallying on the fifth anniversary of China's decision to limit democratic reforms in Hong Kong, and in honour of the pro-democracy Umbrella Movement triggered by it. Protests have been taking place in Hong Kong since the end of March. Demonstrators are calling for the withdrawal of a suspended bill that would allow the extradition of the city's residents to mainland China for trials, as well as for Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam's resignation.
