Trump Repeals Obama Regulation Protecting Waterways


The Trump administration announced the repeal of an Obama-era regulation expanding pollution protections. The regulation protected waterways such as wetlands and shallow streams. According to Reuters, farmers, miners and manufacturers thought the regulation was an overreach. The repeal is another step in Trump’s effort to rock ball environmental regulations to boost industry.
