Scott Morrison responded with fury, as China tariffs become the latest weapon the Chinese Communist Party is using to attack Australia, banning imports of Australian wine for example. Australia China trade is a huge part of the Australian economy, and the CCP is using the Chinese economy as a weapon, to retaliate for Australia's calls for an investigation into the origin of the coronavirus.
