McAfee found dead in cell after Spanish court allows extradition



Antivirus software pioneer has been found dead in his jail cell near Barcelona on Wednesday, hours after a Spanish court approved his extradition to the United States. US federal prosecutors in Tennessee charged McAfee with evading taxes and willfully failing to file tax returns to disclose income made from promoting cryptocurrencies, speaking engagements and selling the documentary rights to his life story. In his later years, the 75-year-old was known for his colourful, outlandish lifestyle, and legal troubles that spanned the Americas.
