According to Quds News, there were explosions reported on agricultural land north of Beit Lahia, a city in the northern Gaza Strip, while another explosion was reported in central Gaza. On Friday, four brush fires in southern Israel were blamed on incendiary balloons launched from Gaza. Despite reports of IDF activity, conflicting reports also claim the explosions were the result of grenades and the Times of Israel reported that the IDF isn't conducting combat operations over the territory at the moment. A reporter with Palestinian outlet Shehab News also reported the explosion in Beit Lahia was "internal." Also Nineteen rockets were fired at northern Israel from Lebanon on Friday morning, sending residents in a number of towns in the Golan Heights and Galilee Panhandle scrambling to shelters. The Hezbollah group later acknowledged responsibility for the barrage, its heaviest since the 2006 Second Lebanon War. Israel is preparing a wide range of military and covert responses to a barrage of 19 rockets fired at Israel on Friday by the Hezbollah group, a defense official said, noting that the severity will depend on how the situation develops. “The Israel Defense Forces has in recent days taken action with large-scale strikes in Lebanon, mostly with artillery and with strikes on infrastructure with fighter jets, as we haven’t done for years,” the official said in a statement.
