Bank of England Warns of Inflation Surge



The Bank of England left monetary policy unchanged on Thursday, but warned of above-target inflation in the near-term. The Bank raised its fourth quarter inflation forecast to 4%, from a 2.5% estimate in June, following two consecutive months of above-forecast readings.
