Still 'specific, credible threats' against foreign troops at Kabul airport, says Pentagon official



Pentagon spokesman John Kirby has said that there are "still credible threats" posed by terror groups in the aftermath of attack on Kabul airport. He insisted force protection was prioritised even before there was specific intelligence around yesterday's attack. "Clearly, all of that effort - and there was a lot of effort - clearly fell short in some way, and we did suffer as well as our Afghan friends suffered casualties," Mr Kirby said.
