Russia faces record COVID-19 death toll for fifth day in a row



Russia has reported a record number of COVID-19 deaths for the fifth day in a row. Only about a third of the population is vaccinated, one of the lowest rates in Europe. President Vladimir Putin has approved a weeklong, nationwide workplace shutdown to prevent the spread of the virus.
