Waterbury police responded to 338 Walnut Street for a report of shots fired at 3:10 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived, they found at least one shell casing. Police say that moments later, a black male arrived at Saint Mary’s with a single gunshot wound to the left leg. His injury is consider non-life threatening. Police are now looking for a suspect in his early 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants with white stripes down the sides, and black Nike sneakers.
