Study finds potential link between Zika virus and more birth defects


Researchers have reported the Zika virus may be linked to a wider variety of “grave outcomes'' for developing babies. The findings are preliminary results from the first study tracking pregnant women with Zika virus infection in Brazil. The new study was conducted by researchers at UCLA and at the Fiocruz Institute in Brazil.
