Pfizer Blocks Use of Its Drugs for Executions

The drug company, Pfizer put out a press release saying it doesn't want it's products to be used in executions of prisoners. The statement read, The Pfizer drug company took steps Friday to make sure its products don't wind up in the deadly cocktails states use to execute prisoners. "Pfizer makes its products to enhance and save the lives of the patients we serve. Consistent with these values, Pfizer strongly objects to the use of its products as lethal injections for capital punishment." The drug company is blocking the sale of certain drugs that are used in the deadly capital punishment method. Pfizer has also asked distributors not to resell those drugs to to any correctional facility for use in executions.
