In its annual review of US economic policy, the International Monetary Fund said on Wednesday the U.S. economy was "overall in good shape",. It said growth was set to accelerate from recent setbacks despite an overvalued dollar. The IMF expects U.S. growth to be 2.2 percent in 2016 and 2.5 percent in 2017, with inflation rising slowly toward the Federal Reserve's goal of two percent. Despite the positive signs, the IMF warned that setbacks could come from a downdraft in global demand, declining participation in the labor force, and widespread poverty. It urged U.S. policymakers to take steps to increase labor force participation. That includes improving child-care and other family-friendly benefits to draw more women into the workforce. http://bit.ly/28N26vJ http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
