The D.C. city council unanimously approved a measure which will increase the minimum wage to $15 per hour in the nation's capital. The minimum wage for the District of Columbia is currently $10.50. Should the bill pass after a final vote later this month, the hourly wage in the city will increase gradually to $15-an-hour by 2020. After that, wage increases will be adjusted based on inflation. The nation's capital joins other cities and states across the nation which have passed similar bills increasing minimum wage. http://apne.ws/1TU4RvY http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
