The owner of the convenience story where Alton Sterling was shot to death is suing the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and its police department. According to the suit, Abdullah Muflahi accuses authorities of illegally taking him into custody and confiscating his entire security system without a warrant. The state is investigating the controversial death of Sterling, a black man who was fatally shot after he was pinned down by two Baton Rouge police officers.
