Two Explosions Rock Small Nevada Town

Authorities said on Thursday, two explosions rocked a small community in rural eastern Nevada on Wednesday night. At least one person was killed. The circumstances behind the pair of large blasts in the town of Panaca were not immediately clear. The town is about 190 miles northeast of Las Vegas. A dispatcher for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said an investigation was underway. She declined to release more details. The sheriff's office confirmed the fatality on its Facebook page.
