According to a recent survey, hundreds of police departments in Texas and California failed to report officer-involved shooting deaths over the past decade. The Houston Chronicle's report added that those two states are the only ones required to report all deaths related to law enforcement, including jail deaths. Since 2005, police departments across both states failed to report 660 fatalities resulting from the use of force. The newpaper got it's statistics from research conducted at Texas State University in San Marcos. The research team used registries from both states to tally their findings. http://cbsn.ws/2d4POFN http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com
